Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi...I have a 97 camry V6 that smells with gas fumes only when air is in the
cab. When all the windows are rolled up I smell nothing. Does anyone know
what would cause such a thing?

It's usually a small leak in the gas line. You will have to jack up the car, put it on jack stands, then slide under and inspect the gas line from front to back. Should see a wet spot on the line or on the side of the gas tank itself. May have a pin hole in the tank. If you live in a state with road salt, the pipes will sometimes corrode on the very top of the tank. Almost impossible to notice until the gas starts dripping down the side of the tank.
