Fuel, spark, air........that's the three basic things you need to make a car run. Sounds like you have already tackled the fuel and air portion. Now start with the spark. Are the plugs and wires good? Have you replaced anything to do with spark yet? Do you have a check engine light on? Have you put a nail in one end of the spark plug wire and turned the engine over to see if you have a good strong blue spark yet? Do that test, and if you have no or weak spark, try replacing your coil..
Thanks Reelin68 but that was the first thing I tested and still got new spark plugs someone told me about the ECT sensor my cause a problem with cold starts
Ok, try this....ambient air sensor...http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Toyota/Camry/Stan dard/Ambient_Temperature_Sensor/1999/SIAX57.html? apwcid=productads&003=27846857&010=apwSIAX571999tocaamtese &gclid=CMi7mbGhmroCFYWd4Aodd3EARA If you replace your ambient air censor and still have problems, I would check your ignition module on the base of your distributor. You can check Youtube for the exact location. Good luck!!
Here's another inexpensive tip that may help, check out this video.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQGSkWEC_u4
Sorry for the long wait but I have tested the spark and it was good I change the spark plugs. The engine started after I keep turning it over after it warm up a little and it run good soon after I park it the car would not start that's when someone told me about the ECT sensor that help it start on a cold start.
