Check engine light was off. engine did overheat. thanks for replying.

If the engine is cranking over ...but...will not start up you should consider checking the engine oil level and quality....the coolant level.....the tranny level. if the engine oil smells like gas...do not start the engine. Perhaps the engine is not receiving fuel. Go to the rear of this vehicle and smack on the bottom of the gas tank with your hand while someone attempts to start-er-up. Is is possible that that gas gauge is lying to you? Try putting some fuel in the tank. Let us know what happens. BTW...did you determine WHY she overheated?

The engine does not crank when turning on the key. the oil level on the oil stick is okay. the mechanic tested the starter and according to him it's okay. but when he tried to turn the lower crankshaft bolt with a wrench it cannot be turned. he said that the engine is stucked / ceased I p[lacrd some trabnsmission fluid through the spark plug holes per advice of the gurus to unstuck the engine. I am sure that the gas 1/2 tank full because I filled it up before going to my destinations that night. I tried smacking the bottom of the tank but the engine won't start. thank for your helt really appreciate yo all gurus.

OK...it appears you have a seized engine. This is most likely due to a mega engine malfunction, The root cause would require an engine tear down. Now you have to decide how much $$$$$ you want to spend finding out what is damaged in the engine...vs.....replacing this vehicle. Suggest you ask your mechanic for some estimates of repair or replacement.
