My 2004 Camry LE V6 has cloth seats, driver is power. I am looking at leather seats for sale to put in. Will the electric harness plug for the leather seats fit my plug? The new seats advertise side airbags as well, guess they came from an XLE 2004. Any chance of me deploying the bags when installing if my plug does fit or will they work from then on? I am going to say that these seats will probably not work. If your BCM (body control module) the computer that controls body electrical options, is not set up for side airbags, these will either not work, or possibly deploy if installed incorrectly. Also, if the leather seats had other options (likely, since they probably came from a higher trim-level vehicle) the plug may be different and not work. My suggestion would be to purchase a set of leather replacement seat covers from the dealer. These will install just like the cloth covers did and will effectively convert your seats to the leather seats you are seeking with less work and problems.
