Depends on where you live. Use the cheap stuff, 87 Octane in most of the USA. In Denver for example you would use 85 Octane as that is the cheap stuff there. You need lower Octane at higher altitudes is why lower octane fuel is available in places like Denver. Also I always recommend buying quality "top tier" gasoline. See http://www.toptiergas.com/ for more info.

It Depends Upon your Car's Engine Condition if it is working fine than you can use any Tier Gasoline, But if it is working poor for some time than you should use 87 Octane it will easily be available in your area
@stevenrogers, top tier gasolines have better additive packages and are better at keeping engine deposits to a minimum. Sure, you can run ANY gasoline. Whether the engine is "working fine" or not really has no bearing on what fuel you SHOULD use. We don't even know where this person lives.
burn the premium- but really, the most important thing is the gas station you go to- is it old? are the tanks underground old, corroded, split? letting dirt and moisture into the gas storage? pumping dirty gas into your car? Pick only brand new stations with brand new tanks to be sure!
