Can I use Engine Restorer on my 2002 Toyota Corolla?

Asked by timcheng616 Jan 16, 2017 at 11:24 AM about the 2002 Toyota Corolla CE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will Engine Restorer work for my 2002 Toyota Corolla? I experiencing weak
compression 90psi vs 160psi for Cylinder 4. Saw your video and thanked
God - was planning to buy this stuff. But then I saw Amazon reviews saying
NEVER to use it for "newer" cars with VVT - Variable Valve Timing Engines.
Sure enough my Corolla has a VVT-i engine. Is this something I can still
use or stay clear? Thanks!

Stay clear, there must be a good reason, and it must be that it must be some crap that will screw up the sensors for the VVT. I think you should just fix what you got instead of looking for a miracle in a bottle.
