Question type: General

Anyone driving a 2005 era Highlander with more than  125K miles want to chime in about cost of maintenance of the car? Test drove a car, will have a PPI, but extensive CarFax records, one prior owner, just concerned what will go wrong over next 5 years, 35-40K miles.

I own a 2005 Highlander Limited with 120,000 miles. Other than standard maintenance (tires, brakes, battery, timing belt, plugs) I had to replace a knock sensor and harness at around 115,000 miles. At around 60,000 miles I also had a frozen front brake caliper that was replaced. When replacing the timing belt at 90,000 miles I also replaced the tensioner, coolant pump, and all other belts.
