Vsc track and check engine light On

Hi, This happen to me on my 2001 Solara SLE convt. What it turned out to be , though it seemed weird was the Vapor Cannister, going bad. It's in the rear , behind the rear wheel. It needs to be replace. GO to Autozone and have the eng code read. It might list this. Anyway, after mine was replaced, no problems again with VSC, or eng light.
