Flashing engine light
Asked by Cowboyruss Jul 12, 2016 at 10:27 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 4WD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a flashing engine light that comes on when
the motor is under any kind of strain. I've scanned
it and it's reading P0300. Multiple cylinder misfire.
I've replaced the plugs and it still exists. It has a
rough idle but it seems to be running a little better.
I'm kinda at a stuck point. Any ideas where I should
try next?

You should change your ignition coils. I had the same problem with a loss of power and a rough idle. Try and replacing your ignition coils next on all of your cylinders.
mine is doing the same thing it was sitting for a while and it had a little bit of an hesitation and now all of the sudden it is missing really really bad. and when I go to drive it misses bad and the engine light flashes when it is struggling. could anyone help me or give me advice on how to fix this problem
Those vehicles have a bad number four bank.probably a bad coil pack
This misfire can be caused by your up stream o2 censor due to causing a lean fuel mixture try replacing it and the exhaust manifold if it has an exhaust leak
I used a cheap har freight sparkplug socket when I replaced them last year. I lost the rubber from it in the sparkplug hole in the back of the six cylinder under the firewall. I got out the piece of rubber and it now runs great.
