car will not turn over unless i put my foot on the gas

i have a 2007 Honda accord lx. it was working fine the day before. the next
morning went to fire it up nothing, i put my foot on the gas as i was firing it up
and it started. but as sewn as i took it off it died. any suggestions what it
would be?

Check gas pressure at rail. If gas prassure is at least 25lbs, u might have a bad TPS sensor. "Throttle positioning sensor"

Check the car for codes first. It could be as lrodri911 said, but it could also be a mass air flow or map sensor as well. Checking for codes firs could save you a lot of time, even if the Check engine light is not lit up.
