How do I replace the light in my heat/air dash window?

Asked by rubye Feb 20, 2007 at 09:18 PM about the 1997 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 320

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The light does not come on the heat and air window on my dash, therefore, when I am driving at night I can't adjust the fan. Is there a light bulb or fuse and where is it located?

Hello, To see if there is a fuse, you should check inside the fuse box. The mapping is on the cover once you look inside. If you need to change out a bulb, beware: this is not an easy job. Here is some advice from a E320 owner: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_fix_the_control_panel_illumination_lights_on_a_1996_Mercedes_Benz_E_320 Best of luck! CarGrrl
