Second starter in 3 months, but I will try a new one, under warranty. Will get back
I mean starter relay/solenoid under hood.
Fords do have a problem with water leaking onto the fuse panel and ruining hidden relays that cannot be repaired without replacing the whole fuse box. I recently had to replace my Expeditions fuse box- $400.
The fuse box behind the kick panel has relays behind it and you can't see them. It is a one hour job and not that bad but a new fuse box is not cheap. Good luck!
