I have a 2005 chevy ssr and when i try to let my top down i get a message that says the cargo cover is ajar. Why would i get this message if the cargo cover is closed and latched.

my 2004 has the old style prop rod for the hood. in 2005 that was changed to a dual rod system auto. does anyone offer a retro kit for the 2004? thanks bill
