Headlights stay now truck won't start

My headlights stay on even when I turn them
off. I have to disconnect my battery every
time I go any where. I thought it was a bad
cell in my battery so I replaced it. Then it
wouldn't start so I replaced the
ignition/starter solenoid.

The head light relay may be stuck on.
Would that still drain my battery if the positive is disconnected?
Totally unrelated. If ur lights were staying on and u replaced battery, u might've left a loose connection or missed wired the ignition switch. U didn't mention having problems starting prior to replacing battery. Take battery to get it checked and charged and try it again if it still doesn't start, momentarily bypass relay on the fender wall and see if it cranks
Thank you guys. Full_of_Regrets, you were right the switch was stuck in the on position. I had it replaced and shortly after I sold it. Thanks again guys for your advice
