my cars locks me out of it,meaning the theft light comes on and the car will not start. I have to wait 25mins with the key in the ingnition in the on position until my theft light goes off.

Go to the dealer and ask how to reprogram your key to the car and anti-theft system.

Look up how to reset theft system i did an itz good now mine is a 2004 i say look it up cause u mite be different there are several ways
