im going to hear it on this one....start the truck and while its still cold! direct a garden hose around and under anything that would get wet/ make contact in the rain..somethings shorting out. if your lucky and find the spot, you will then have a head start on the problem..or you could move to yuma az..
Check for leaks around the windshield, the drain line from the area of the windshield wipers, near the PCM.
oj..good idea..i figured if water was geting inside of car (under dash) he would have known.if the PCM wasn't damaged from the pins being shorted together by the water. clean and dry the connector for the PCM. contacts corroded?
I hade the same problem with a Ford Bronco. It turned out to be a crack in the coil. After I replaced it I could drive through streams again.
right after a rain or a damp morning truck will flood out after staring on a sunny day no prob had plugs, mass air, fuel pressure, throttle and peddle changed no difference
Its ur fpdm (fuel pump driver module) located above ur spare tire on the frame.
