No power to fuel pump on 2002 suburban

Asked by Carengineerhater Jun 17, 2015 at 02:34 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed fuel pump on suburban (old
one would buzz when key turned on
just wouldn't pressure up). Followed
procedures but no power to new
one. Installed old pump that would
power up but no power to it now.
Don't see blown fuse.

Check plug in connection to fuel pump make sure one of the prongs is not bent not making connection when plugged in.

Test with test light to make sure you are getting power to fuel pump.
