My oil pressure drops to zero anytime I drive a significant amount of miles at one time (more than 40). If I shut the car off for about 10 minutes it the pressure goes back up and everything seems fine. I just had my oil changed so I know that is not the issue. My vehicle is a 2002 Suburban and I have over 2000,000 miles on it. Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

this needs to be addressed...first of all remove the sending unit.turn over the engine for 2-3 seconds...did it make a mess? if so replace the sending unit and or check the wires...
