My 2002 chevy suburban wouldn't move at a stop light. Revved up like it wanted to and nothing in 1,2,3 or D. I stepped on it and it made a BIG clunk sound like something broke lose and I babied it home but when I would slow down and then give it a little bit of gas, the clunk sound was there again. I had someone replace the water pump, wires and spark plugs a couple days ago. HELP ME PLEASE!!

Sounds like your trans is on the way out. Check fluid level, jf it's low maybe you caught it early enough. It sounds like your transmission pump isn't able to put out enough pressure

Thank you. I'm hoping its only the fluid level. My luck though its probably the tranny. Will get it checked tomorrow. Should I not drive it to the mechanics shop then? Don't want to mess more things up
