Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My AC is not very cold, and I did charge it before and it improved, but not sure if I had the
right port for the charge. I want to charge it further!

I don't advise charging your own ac system. I use to do my own till one time my gauge was not reading properly and I over charged the system. Ended up blowing the seals on the compressor. (Very costly lesson) I now use an ac tech. They will pull a vacuum on your system (to check for leaks) and completely recharge the system for around $50. Or at least that's what my guy charges.

Dandyoun< I appreciate your advice, and very sound. I wish I have someone like the person you use, but I don't, and the price will be much greater around here. I am not trying to achieve the top performance from my system, just a dry air when the temp is in the 80's. Right now, the air coming out cool, but not cold enough to cool the truck.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqPkl6AITzY -- this video is a little rough but it does show you the basics. You will hook to the blue low pressure side fitting.
