#35 fuse keeps blowing out

I have a 2006 F250 4x4 crew cab. I had a right rear brake light burn out and I replaced it. The next thing is the #35 fuse had blown out. Now, I have everything working except the parking lights and instrument panel lights. Everytime I put a fuse in it blows out when I turn the light switch to the parking lights. I replace the switch and it still does the same thing. I took the bulb I replaced out and it still blew the fuse. However, I did notice the socket of the bulb I replace was burnt looking, but the bulb still worked. The just is this all started after the bulb blew out. Everything works but the parking lights and instrument panel lights. What am I not seeing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There has to be some wire shorted to ground somwhere. Did you pinch some wires when putting the lense back in after replacing the bulb by chance?

This is what I found... Within the last year, I had the drivers door removed to get repainted from a bad previous paint job that caused the clear coat to peel off. Apparently when the body shop put everything back together, meaning the outside rearview mirror, which has the turn signal, running light, and flashers, they pinched the all the wires that operate the mirror between the door and the metal housing of the outside rearview mirror. I took all of it apart and found where the wires had grounded against the door and the housing. I cut the wires and pulled the wire harness to the outside mirror out , replaced the fuses and everything works great. All I have to do now is locate a wire harness for the outside mirror. So, if anyone has had body work done and a door removed, I would check to see if a wire has been pinched. Thanks "Kbro"...

The fuses that had blown were 17, 18, 38 and 41 it wasn't 35. Hope this helps to narrow down the fuse search.
