Headlight fail

I bought and 02 trailblazer and it needed a
headlight low beam so I got the light and I installed
and driving for about 2 mins I smell a burning smell
so I pulled over and and I seen a glow red wire idk
if it was power or ground but I quickly turned it off
and removed the headlight why is my low beam

Check your brake pedal it just may not be returning all the way I did the same thing you did I change that thing all around the truck it pisses me off to the point where I could not sleep for two nights I literally did everything bled the brakes changed all the brake fluid changed all the brake lines change the ABS sensors chees I did the same thing you did I change that thing all around the truck it pisses me off to the point where I could not sleep for two nights I literally did everything bled the brakes changed all the brake fluid changed all the brake lines change the ABS sensors changed ABS pump master cylinder brake booster wheel Bearings brake calibers brake hardware stainless steel shelves greased everything to no other still I got the same results I’ve been disassembled the ABS by removing the 60 amp fuse it’s still acting up for some reason I decided to pull on the brake pedal and all the sudden while sitting on the incline in my driveway the brakes just released them self and it only moved like a half an inch maybe a quarter no more than a half and that was the whole problem check it I adjusted the brake booster change the brake booster Three different times just to have the same luck so I decided to put a spring on it he pulls the pedal back up to the top like you need to solve the problem fuck the dumb shit just to Do it the easy put a spring on that bitch And your problem solved I literally just fixed mine

The hot wire for the low beam on that side is grounded out. You'll have to chase the wire and cover any bare spots.
Check the wires from the socket, back. Don't use SilvaStars, they draw too many amps, will melt the wires. Gauge of our wires is too small for this application, so unfortunately, this is common. Use a standard old bulb, or if you have the right light housing (projector or Halo), switch to HID or LED which draws very little amps.
