i have a 01 blazer 4x4 with a bad transmission, will a transmission from a 2wd work? don't care about the 4x4part

You will need the driveshaft and crossmember from the same body 2wd truck. You will lose your transfer case and rem9ve your front driveshaft from the picture. Leave your cv shafts unless they become a problem, the wheel bearings need them to hold themselves together.
