How can I change the fuel filter with a stripped nut?
I never changed a fuel filter before & I'm not
good with working on cars. I tried PB
Blaster, WD-40, penatrating oil. I used a wire
brush to get some of the rust off. I banged
the nut to maybe it would loosen the nut.
Then I used 2 wrenches, one connected to
the nut where the fuel filter is & one
connected to the fuel line that leads towards
the back of the truck. I still couldn't get it
off!! Then I used vice grips (the 1 that locks)
to see if that would work.... Nothing. Then I
tried using flare wrenches. But buy the time I
tried using those, the nut that's connected to
the fuel line was stripped. So how do I get
the nut off now it's stripped???
