Thanks. Is there a way to repair/ band aid it without pulling the motor?

The cheapest possible fix would be your catalytic converter. If your cat is the factory original from 1995 it needs to go! If you suspect it is, I would suggest temporarily replacing the cat with a test pipe, then rechecking your motor. Odds are it's too late for it and NinjaXxChicken is right but it would be really cool if it worked! Being a 1995 "age" I do not think it would through a signal to cause a light in your dash. Also, keep in mind the EPA would not like it if you went without a cat "just FYI" Just so you know, I had a 1995 ZR2 with an old stopped up cat! when I got rid of the cat it was like dropping a new motor in it! Good luck to you Sir.
