No crank no start 2000 s10 4.3

Asked by Eltzroth Sep 08, 2016 at 03:04 AM about the 2000 Chevrolet S-10 LS Extended Cab RWD

Question type: General

Replaced starter.and ignition switch.  Can remove starter relay cross pins and
engine will turnover but not start.  Will not start in park or neutral

You may have a bad park neutral switch that is bolts to the side of trans under the shifter lever. You can use a jumper wire and jump past the switch and see it it will start it if does then I would say that switch is bad

Oh sorry. I did not see that it still would no start. I don't think the park switch is bad. Maybe check all of the big fuses in the hood in the fuse block

i have the same prob with my truck same year, make, model, and engine size i check all the fuses and my truck still wont turn over
