2002 S10 No oil pressure

Asked by austinge Aug 19, 2018 at 07:13 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet S-10 Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I start up my S10 it has oil pressure for a
good ten minutes but as soon as it gets hot the
pressure drops down to 0 and start making noise
and knocking. What could this be the oil pump or
bearings?

Could be the oil pump and or the oil pickup screen could be clogged. How many miles on this truck?
