I put a set of 31x10.5-15 tires on my old '91 4-door. Now, mine had a few extra leafs in the rear and the torsion bars were torqued up... I had a few shiny spots on the frame in the front from where the tires rubbed, but that was only in extreme steering situations... Converting this measurement to P-metric (and assuming you have the suspension lift to go with it), you could use a 265/70R16 or a 255/75R16. Make sure the wheel sits about the same distance out as the stock wheel, or preferably further out. The pic is of my old truck with the 31s.
