Transmission only goes forward

Asked by Michael Sep 17, 2023 at 02:44 PM about the 1994 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT LB RWD

Put in used transmission, new
filter and fluid and it only has
forward gear, even in  reverse or
neutral changed the overdrive
solenoids, the only electrical part
in there and it still does the same
thing, forward in every selector
position except for park and it
tries even then to pull forward a
little for a second what is wrong?
