cooling fans wont turn on

Question type: General

the cooling fans wont turn on even thought car is hot if i disconnect the temp.sensor they
will turn on .how ever if i turn the a/c on they both turn on even if the car's temp.is a little
over the half way mark the cooling fan just wont turn on and there's no signal from the
ecm to the temp.sending unit and the car starts to over heat.at what temperature should
the cooling fan turn on ...this is a 2001 chev.malibu

Wire it with a toggle switch & turn it on when needed.

for that aill i need to do is just keep my a/c on all the time .i do't think toggle swtich is the answer i;m looking for but thanks anyway.
