how can i check a starter relay with a volt ohm meter

I need to check with a volt ohm meter, to see if the starter relay is good or not??? How can I do this with a meter.

Chances are if the relay is bad its the contacts and not the coil. Best way to check is to energize coil and see if you get voltage on the output side of relay.
