Question type: Maintenance & Repair

WHILE DRIVING THE RPM INCREASES ABOUT 200  AND DROPS BACK.  THIS
HAPPENS  AFTER I  HAVE DRIVEN  A  FEW  MILES  AND  THE  TRUCK  HAS
WARMED UP.  IT  SEEMS  TO  BE   SHIFTING  NORMALLY.   BUT  WHEN  I  AM
GOING  AT  A  STEADY  SPEED   THE  RPM  STARTS  JUMPING.

Does it only do it at 50 mph or higher? (+--) If so your trans could be shifting in and out of overdrive. Does it seem to do it more on a slight grade?
