Question type: Maintenance & Repair

only happens if I hit a puddle or standing water on roadway. its like if I hit enough water to make the water splash up under the truck the truck then wont shift into overdrive for a while until I guess whatevers getting wet finally dries out and then it goes right back into overdrive and drives right.

sounds like a seal on the overdrive is worn out. the overdrive is controlled by an electric switch. won't work if it's wet.
