Test,I have a 98 Dodge 1500 ram pickup.when you drive it about 10 miles the truck will
shift down out of overdrive to drive and the transmission heat light will come on and it
will down shift to second then you pull over and let it set for five min and you can drive it
again until it does the same thing again.now I changed the filter and fluid and put in a
Lucas transmission treatment for slipping transmissions and it still does it any advise

I'd be curious about your pump pressure sounds like your running out of fluid and cavitating.
