I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 2 wheel drive 4.2. The automatic tranny went out. Will an aotomatic tranny from a Dodge Dakota 2 wheel drive 318 bolt up to my motor and is the wiring the same?

I think the bell housing is different,4.2 has 8 bolt,and 318 has 10.
