Truck is running rough

I have a 99 dodge ram 1500 5.2. The issue im having is when I start my truck it idles right around 600 rpm it acts like it wants to die but it wont. Then when im driving and make a right hand turn it almost completely dies and I lose power but when I straighten the wheel back out it works perfectly fine. im either thinking fuel pump and filter of possibly something to do with the power steering.

I'm more suspect of the Idle Air Control valve myself, a quick test (not definitive) is to unplug it after the motor is up to temperature and go for a drive to see if it gets worse or stays the same. It's also much cheaper and easier to replace than the fuel pump but you should replace the fuel filter regardless unless it's been changed in the last couple years.
I will check that for sure. But would that also account for when I turn right and my truck wanting to die as well or would that be a different problem entirely?

Always possible the steering pump is seizing up when in a rite turn. Easy way to troubleshoot that is to turn the steering wheel with the tranny in park n see if it happens then. Short of that, disconnect the evap purge solenoid n leave the gas cap off the tank n see if any change at all.
It could as when you steer you put more strain on the engine via the power steering pump so the Idle will drop, if the iac isnt working correctly it won't be able to compensate for that
Thank you... I will check all of those out when I get home. I appreciate the feedback!
those are no answer to this guys problem, come on don't you think maybe the problem lies in the steering Colom itself... black box under ignition switch? power to coil runs thur the ignition switch , bad switch or wiring?
