Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 it has a 5.9 360
magnum and I just replaced the intake manifold
with the Hughes intake manifold . Yesterday I got it
back together and tried to fire it up and it runs very
rough to the point it shuts off after a few minutes of
running . I replaced the iat ,iac ,injectors , map
sensor, and throttle body position sensor and it still
is running rough . I’m running out of ideas so could
someone shoot me some ideas please :)

Was it running rough before the intake change? Is there a check engine light on? What kinda intake, single/multi plane? Dijya disconnect the battery while you changed the intake? Do you have aftermkt injectors or originals? Dijya pull out the distributor ass'y or mess with the distributor/spark delivery in any way? Dijya touch the crank position sensor or maybe jar loose the connector?

Before it would run rough when started then run fine. And I did disconnect the battery before starting the change In intake. Also I only changed spark plugs no distributor or spark plug wires

R ur injectors OEM or custom? Dijya check the crank sensor, connector n wiring? Will it continue to run if you jockey the throttle.

I figured it out I had aftermarket injectors and they were flooding the cylinders . But thank you
