Finding correct parts

I had some trouble with lights but now I want to get new seat covers and I see
that the covers pictured do not match my trucks. Then I broke the ashtray.
The ashtray I found that matches mine is from a 1994-97 truck. This makes
no sense. I'm sure my truck is a 2000 and it was a one owner that never
changed the interior. What's going on??
