Check for spark on spark plugs. If spark is good, do a compression test. You said new cam sensor, did u mean crank sensor?
If it doesn't crank it could be starter. If it does crank, it could be computer on the top of wheel well with 3 plugs in it! Mine went on my 2002 Durango and I had it replaced after thinking it was my timing belt! Turns out Dodge had problems with them and never told the public about it and no recalls, either! Put on from a junkyard in only to have it go 2 more times. Found a video on you tube that gave the name of an electronic repair place in Illinois that would fix it for $125.00 whit a lifetime guarantee and haven't had a problem since. Nice of Dodge not telling us that the soldered parts would come loose inside it just from the engine's heat!!!
Yes actually was the cam sensor. Left side of motor. Have to take off airbox to get to it. Was listed as one of the possible fixes. Getting power, checked fuses, relays..etc. key will turn but no fire. Almost as if not getting a spark. As stated sprayed with starter fluid in carb and nothing. Figured if any spark would have done something...
Not really, u can have spark and fuel but if it's out of time or no compression, it won't start. That's why u need to verify and eliminate possible causes so u can finally get to the root cause.
