My dodge wont shut off. What is the problem?

The head lights came on while it was parked. The battery ran down. I jumped it to start the truck. I let it run for 20 min or so then it wouldn't shut off. I pulled the ground side of the battery off and it kept running. Had to pull it in gear to stall it. Is it the ignition switch?

lock and switch, the many types of vehicles that this works on had me second guessing, but I found it!
If the ignition switch was stuck on, wouldn't the dash lights be on too?

It's not a twisty on, a pullswitch (like they should be) sounds like you need to pull the steering wheel off, you've got to anyways to do the switch/lock in there you are going to find a few crossed and burned wires. What else can it be? this is the place where it all comes together...no?
