Trouble shifting

Asked by john Jan 15, 2020 at 10:02 PM about the 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab RWD

So I got my steering column rebuilt on my 04
Dodge Ram 1500 and now I have to use a little
force to put it in park and it won’t fully shift to drive
it either slips to neutral or 2nd gear. And to be clear
it is a problem with my lever gearshift. Any
suggestions on how to fix it
