went to turn wheel when the key was not in and something snapped and now the wheel wont stop
spinning .what should i do

OR something has come undone in the front end. do the tires turn when you turn the steering wheel? or the tires alligned correctly when it faces straight ahead? does it make any noise?

pretty sure its in the steering column cause the tires wont turn and the wheel does my guess is i'm screwed but thx for the help!!:)
