trying to find out if the transmission in my 2003 dodge durango 4.7 liter 2wd is
interchangeable with the transmission in my 2004 dodge ram 1500 4.7 liter

start with the pan bolts . do they match ? then look for any numbers on the trans . measure the total length , check where the lines hook up then search the vin. #'s the tranny type may be included , I would think they would have to be exactly the same as models change year to year
Thanks for the advice,I was kinda hoping someone could tell me which mods would b similar in advance so I'd know what to look for.
