i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 sport with a 5.9 gas motor. im trying to figure out what trans i have in the truck. the tag under the hood says bd48. when i look that up it shows for a diesel. so im not sure what trans i have. i cant find any tags on the trans at all but on the bell housing does have 064-2 if that helps any 3 Answers

I have a 2003 dodge 1500 half ton, I just put a motor in and it ran great for about 20 miles and it started acting like it was missing fire and vibrating and when I let of the gas it dies 2 Answers
But will start right back up and it flashes the check engine light and looses power but at times gets it back. I have only drove it for about 30 miles. I don't know what the problem is?
