One of the control actuators for the ventilation system has failed. Check this video to maybe help you diagnose which one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB2hnvqB3Qk

I had the same issue, I found that the vaccum line for my ac/heat system was not secure, I put it together and it started to change from vent to defrost, the vaccum runs with the main wireing harness and is right by your brake booster
