Car Shakes when turning at low speeds

Asked by GuruZGT1J Jun 06, 2018 at 07:44 AM about the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn at low speeds, such as when
parking, my 2000 Chevy Blazer shakes
violently until the wheel is straight and im
parked. I dont lock the wheel when i turn ir,
not sure of the person who owned it before
me did this and I'm not sure if that would
effect it? But it is very strange I haven't
told anyone or asked anyone about it?
Does anyone have any idea about the
cause of this?

Must be something binding in the front axle.. if you can , jack up the front on ome side and spin the wheel . It should turn freely and the drive shaft should mot spin unless its in 4x4.
