While driving I took off from a light fast at about 60 the transfer went in to neutral by its self had to stop to get it to shift has done this 2 times any one else had this promblem

how many miles are on it? sounds like your tranny is slipping... may need a rebuild, or may just need to add transmission fluid.

Is there anything tugging on the lever, like an out of place floor mat or shift boot cinched up too tight, any any rate a mechanical force upon the lever.
