I have a 200 Mercedez 320 CLK, sun roof wont close about an inch

the sunroof wont close al the way, what do i do i think the motor works
cause it closes and opens but it wont close al the way

How inconvenient- I cannot tell you EXACTLY what is wrong but I can offer you some advice- decades ago when I worked at the VW dealership, we began getting the new Audi 5000s and the sunroofs were inop right off the transport- I took it upon myself to learn how these beasts worked so I could get all the warranty work- a power sunroof, A GERMAN power sunroof is a complex and frustrating piece of work- don't worry about what it is, just take it to the dealership or a great German car mechanic and pay them for their study and diligence-
