I have a 2000 impala ls. Low beam
headlights will not work, I hit the high beams
and all four lights come on. Just can't get
the low beam lights to come on.

It would be a rare event for both low beams to burn out simultaneously. Most cars have a separate fuse or breaker for the low beam and the high beams. I would check that out first. Look it up in the owners manual to confirm my info. I hope this helps.

Go to your under the hood fuse block and look for the fuses labeled: LT LO BEAM and RT LO BEAM. Those two fuses power the left and right low beam headlights. If both low beams went out at the same time, check the module labeled: HDLP-MDL. Check for any other fuses that may have failed. I do not see a listing for a headlight relay.
