Sunroof Malfunction in my 2003 CLK500
My Mercedes CLK 500's sunroof has
stopped working. On my dash it's saying
restraint malfunction drive to workshop.

Yes it does. Will that stop the sunroof from coming down. I also looked in the trunk and noticed the thing that actually holds the sunroof in the trunk is cracked on one of the arms.
If you mean by "sunroof" a convertible (cabriolet) top then, yes, a broken component could trigger all sorts of warnings. Some of the "arm" issues are an easy fix (replace a bolt, repair a connection) but some are serious and can't be fixed easily. Find a good BOSCH or independent Mercedes mechanic for diagnosis and cross your fingers. These are complex mechanisms.
